I am delighted to be in the fast-moving world of PHP web application development. I thought I would occasionally put down some feedback from 'the field', as sales people call the (real?) world out there.
We are talking to many companies who depend on PHP for revenues, and who see Ibuildings as a natural partner and friend. They are delighted to find a professional, well-established organisation that backs-up the Zend products and initiatives with a trusted delivery capabilility.
More and more, I hear the message that at big companies, consultants in jeans just don't cut it in terms of a truly professional approach. This has less to do with the sartorial sense, and more to do with the experience of working successfully at a large organisation and understanding the level of dialogue and communication that needs to take place, backed up with the right tools at the right time.
It may sound corny, but everyone is a unique individual who perceives you in a unique way, and hears only what
they want & need to hear. It means explaining things in several ways in parallel, without boring the ones who get everything first time, like I'm sure you do

.
More another time.
